Entering a new decade really makes us think about what matters, and for us, that hasn’t changed since we first opened our virtual doors. What matters most to us is YOU! We’ve always been obsessed with concocting the best of the best natural skincare because skincare is a great way to incorporate putting yourself first daily...a.k.a practicing self-care!
While we can design products fit for any lifestyle or need, we know no one knows self-care more than, well, yourself! So, for all of 2020 we will be spotlighting green beauty enthusiasts, boss babes, Honey Belle team members, AND even our very own customers in a special Q&A series centered around all things self-care.

Meet Grace 💛
Meet Grace Cheng, or if you know her by her IG handle, @gracepcheng! She is the founder and CEO of Mylk Labs and an international fashion model. She was born and raised in sunny southern California and enjoys baking, being creative, and spending some quality time with her dog, Suki!
Can you walk us through a typical day for you?
I typically wake up at 6:30am, eat breakfast (oatmeal, obviously) and head straight to work (my home office) by 7:00am. The majority of the day is spent on my computer unless I have castings for modeling or in-person meetings. In this day & age, everything can be done remotely: meetings, sales pitches, logistics, negotiations, marketing, etc. However, I'll head to the warehouse to check on things or put together larger orders a couple of times a week. I work until 5pm (more or less) and then take my dog, Suki, on a 45 minute walk. If I’m feeling like I want to do more, I’ll go to a megaformer pilates class to burn some energy.
What are your favorite ways to self-care?
My favorite ways to self-care include just three simple things: face masks, TV and SNACKS!
What are some things that cause you stress? How do you manage?
Having a small team and running an entire company is extremely stressful. I manage both by making tons of lists and tackle one thing at a time. This helps me get more done and keeps my stress levels down because if I think about how much I need to as a whole, my brain might just melt. Haha!
What advice related to self-care do you wish you received growing up?
Some advice I wished I received when growing up is, “Wake up earlier and get more done in your youth!” As a teenager, I used to sleep extremely late and wake up at noon. Now I'm a total morning person and get SO much done BEFORE noon.
Can you tell us more about skincare and self-care?
One thing about me is I love facial oils! I have dry/combination skin and little patches of dermatitis so I love oils that are gentle and heal my skin. My favorite Honey Belle product would have to be ELIXIR Facial Oil. It's super hydrating, smells great and isn't greasy at all! (It's also really gentle and I have sensitive skin so it's perfect for me).
